This notice explains how Capivanta handles information collected through https://capivanta.co, including enquiries and website analytics. It does not cover confidential client work governed by a separate engagement agreement. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Who operates this website
Capivanta is operated by John Lotto, who is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. For privacy enquiries and requests, email hello@capivanta.co.
Information you provide
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, work email, company or fund, company or fund country, optional phone or WhatsApp number, and message. We use this information to respond, assess whether our services fit your needs, and discuss a possible engagement. Providing a phone number is optional. Please do not submit identity documents, bank details, confidential financial documents, or sensitive personal information through the public form.
Website operation and security
Our website is hosted on WordPress.com and uses Automattic services, including Jetpack and Akismet, to operate forms, protect against spam, and support the website. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and security logs. Enquiry information may be processed through WordPress.com and email services to deliver and manage your request. Their practices are described in Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits, acquisition channels, page use, and engagement. It may process cookie identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location, referral information, page addresses, and interaction events. Google signals and ad personalization are disabled for Capivanta’s Google Analytics property. We also use Jetpack website statistics.
Our consent controls block optional analytics until you choose to allow it. Necessary website and security functions remain available. You can reject optional analytics and change your choice through the site’s Cookie settings. You can still submit an enquiry if you reject analytics. Cookies can also be managed through your browser. Who can access information
Information is handled by Capivanta and service providers supporting the website, enquiry handling, security, and analytics. We use GSC Wizard to view Google Analytics and Google Search Console reports through the authorized connection. These reports help us assess website performance. Enquiry messages are not intended to be sent to Google Analytics or GSC Wizard.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy notices explain their processing arrangements and applicable safeguards. We do not represent that all website data remains in Indonesia.
Retention and security
We retain website, enquiry, and analytics information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including responding to enquiries, managing any resulting relationship, security, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. The period depends on the information and the purpose; you can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion. We limit access and use available security controls, but no website or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to allow optional analytics and can contact Capivanta to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable requirements and necessary recordkeeping. For privacy requests, contact hello@capivanta.co. An enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.
